The History of the Cumbrian Tigers YFC

The club was initially formed as parents wanted to give the children of Bransholme a focus.

The Cumbrian Tigers first played in the 1997/98 season in the Drypool league which they won! and were promoted to the Myton League.

 

Over the years the club been represented by teams ranging from Under 7's to Under 18's.

 

2003 the Club had developed additional teams. Cumbrian Tigers was represented by 4 teams.

 

2006/07 season the club was represented by 6 teams ranging from under 9's to under 15's

 

In the 2010/11 season Cumbrian Tigers YFC was represented by 3 teams, Under 9’s Under 13’s and Under 15’s.

 

Over the years this has only been possible due to the hard work of parents and volunteers giving their time to work with each team to ensure the children of the area can participate in Football. The Club will always listen to parents and players regarding the future development of the club.
